How much does a website cost?
It’s not that simple. Every website is different and so is the cost as there are varying elements that may be involved in the creation of each one. Think of a website as a car or a house… depending on what you want will determine how much it will be.
This question can only be answered by filling out the ‘client worksheet’ and sending it back to me for a quote.
How long will it take?
Depending on the size and complexity of your website and on how quick correspondence is between us and if the project ends up changing while it’s being developed.
I typically book clients 3 weeks in advance.
Please checkout the Web Design Process page for more information on time frames.
Can I call you? or Can you call me?
I do all my correspondence through email at info@pixelarcher.com or by using the contact form on this website. There are several reasons for this:
- I am a stay at home mother and can’t always find the time during the day to be on the phone.
- I do most of my work after hours and my son is in bed, I’m sure most of you would not want a call at 2am.
- Being on the phone and minding my son is not a productive combination,
- email is the best way to have everything in writing, dated, and search-able through my email client. It saves me having to ask the same question several times.
Can you make my site rank #1 in searches?
What you are looking for is SEO (search engine optimization). Sorry, this is not my area of expertise.
Can you make ‘this’ do ‘this’?
I decided to put this section here because many times clients will make requests that require custom programming which is not my area of expertise. Such things like custom listings that are sortable, catalog of products that can be updated by the client, etc..
If you require extensive custom programming for a certain function of your website I will give you an outline of what I can achieve with 3rd party software if possible, but I can’t promise it will be what you need. In this case I would suggest hiring programmer whom I could work with: they would code, I would supply design.
